Deep Blue Resort Utila is a 5 Star Gold Palm PADI Resort and an all inclusive scuba diving vacation venue. The resort is set in a beautiful beach front location called Pretty Bush, it is surrounded by coconut palms with 10 spacious, air conditioned deluxe rooms, all with large private balconies overlooking its own white sand beach and the crystal waters of the Caribbean. From the beach our guests have access to unlimited shore diving night or day on 3 of the best south side dive sites. Scuba diving on Utila is rich and varied with more than 130 buoyed sites around the island. The North side of Utila has the second largest barrier reef in the world with awe inspiring sheer walls dropping to over 1,000 meters. The South side of Utila consists mainly of shallow fringing reefs, the top of the reef at around 5 meters dropping down to between 30 & 40 meters. Then of course during the surface intervals the whale shark search is on. Scuba diving heaven!! |

Deep Blue Resort News Updates
July 4th 2007 We now have our new dock and kit room with lockers for guest dive gear just 5 minutes behind the rooms and we have just put in a new engine in our dive boat the Walnut. Swin and Matt are really excited as it now only takes 40 minutes to the North side of Utila island instead of 60 minutes. The Walnut now actually planes across the water. We have our normal East trade winds which makes the sea a little choppy but keeps the bugs away. Lots of Seahorses and Pipehorses around at the moment and a couple of Frogfish. |
Life's an adventure, don't miss out, DIVE in today!
