It is a beautiful get away from it all resort which can only be reached

and make yourself at home. Your meals are good quality home style
cooking, with plenty of choices to accommodate all
tastes and some good wines to accompany it. You will arrive as guests and
leave as friends. With unlimited shore diving on three of the best south
side sites, three boat dives per day and a full range of PADI Courses and
Specialties available Deep Blue Resort is a scuba diving heaven!!

The
resort is located in an area called Pretty Bush and a boat is required
for trips to and from town. We chose this location to provide
peace and quiet for our guests away from the hustle and bustle of this
busy little town. We arrange three afternoon trips per week into
town free of charge for our guests to explore and buy gifts. We
can organise an evening trip into town at a small extra cost and with a
pre arranged return time. |

Carving and art works displayed at Deep Blue Resort were
produced by local artist Gunter Kordovsky. Gunter is originally from
Innsbruck Austria where he was an
accomplished Alpine skier and downhill racer. He came to Utila with an
expedition team in 1970 and never left. Gunter owned three scuba diving
shops on Utila which he sold some years ago so that he could focus full
time on his art. Well almost full time as he has two daughters, rides his
mountain bike, runs or swims many miles daily and recently took part in a
triathlon in Roatan. He is an extreme diver and has explored the jungles,
waters and deep caves of Utila extensively so has collected a wealth of
historical knowledge and artifacts over the years. He has been featured
in a number of films and articles in different parts of the world.
